!! so happy that she got to see whales!!
Me too! This was such a gorgeous experience. Last year was great too, but we only saw a few finbacks then. This time the boat showed up in the middle of a feeding frenzy, and we were almost consistently surrounded by 6 different humpbacks for the hour+ we were in the area. One came close to the boat and swam slowly next to us for a bit, inspecting us, and there was another pair that were swimming and diving together. I was in awe the entire time, and am still swooning.
